TOPIC - BUILDING CONFIDENCE AND AUTHORITY IN TECHNICAL OR POLICY ROLES

This dynamic session is designed to empower women to strengthen their presence, influence, and leadership in technical and policy-driven environments. Through an engaging panel discussion, industry leaders will share practical insights on owning your expertise, communicating with confidence, and navigating complex power dynamics with authority and authenticity.

Attendees will gain actionable strategies for speaking up without over-explaining or apologizing, overcoming imposter feelings in high-stakes situations, and advocating for themselves effectively and respectfully—leaving equipped to lead with clarity, confidence, and impact.

Free Event - Maximum of 10 Participants

NJSWEP will once again be supporting the Annual Stream Cleanup Event with the Raritan Headwaters Association. Join us for a morning of service just in time for Earth Day!

We have reserved 10 volunteer spots. We'll meet with Raritan Headwaters coordinators at the Black River Park parking lot on Main Street in Succasunna, NJ. Donuts and coffee will be provided to get us started for the day.

Registration is required for this event so that the coordinators are sure to bring enough supplies.

Note: Kids are welcome to participate in this service project but must be accompanied by an adult.
