Fall Hike at Batsto Lake Trail – Join Us!

Let’s kick off a cozy fall morning together outdoors! Join fellow NJ SWEP members - familiar faces and new friends alike (nonmembers welcomed!)- for a relaxed group hike along the beautiful Batsto Lake Trail. We’ll meet right outside the Visitor Center front doors at 10:00 AM and head over to the trail together.

This scenic 4.1-mile loop winds around the lake through peaceful pine forest, sandy footpaths, and charming bog bridges. It’s generally considered an easy, enjoyable walk and typically takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete at a comfortable pace.

Whether you’re here for fresh air, conversation, leaf-peeping, or just a quiet reset in nature - we’d love to have you.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots

• Water

• Weather-appropriate layers
